Develop an argument evaluating the extent to which the kingdoms and empires of the Sub-Saharan region succeeded in state building between c. 1200 and c. 1450.

* Post a response to the Lesson Question on Google Classroom by selecting One Document from the Model DBQ Lesson and writing a 2-3 sentence analysis statement. Select a classmate who responded and write a 1-2 sentence reply to support, modify, or refute their analysis.

Compare and contrast the attitudes of Christianity and Islam toward merchants and trade from the religions' origins until about 1500.

* Write one body paragraph that would be a part of this larger essay. Type up that paragraph and submit to Google Classroom for credit. You paragraph should include the following: Topic Sentence (mini-claim), Summary and Source Analysis of at least two documents, and (if possible) a descriptive connection to outside evidence. All this information should be explained in such a way that supports the topic sentence and links back to some part of overall prompt.
